Which mario party game?

Children are 6 and 9 and we have recently had a switch. We want to get them mario party as a good family game for xmas but there are so many! My instinct was to get the original but many people say the jamboree one is better? does anyone have experience the different ones and can recommend which would be better for these ages?

We haven't played the jamboree one yet, as it's dds Xmas present. However we loved super Mario party. It's been played loads for the last 2 to 3 years. So can't help you unfortunately but waiting for some replies to see others comparisons.

Jamboree 100%! My daughter is 7..we've played them all but Jamboree is the best one. It's the same game style play with mini games but it's just newer and better than the others. She also likes the other options on the menu where there's like a item factory bit (can't remember the exact name) but you do challenges to get items. It's really good 👍🏻

They’re all great to be honest!! But jamboree is probably the best.
Mario party is so great 😅

Super Mario Party: you need joycons to play these, only one each so for say 4 players you'd only need 2 sets so not too bad but it's more expensive to get more sets than to get a wireless controller.

Super Mario Jamborree: uses both - you can turn the joycon mini games off which I like. This is definitely our favourite one

Super Mario Superstars: can use regular non joycon controllers for all.

Our favourite is Jamborree, there are more mechanisms on the boards ie special events and the mini games are more enjoyable imo. Also extra bits to do on the game as a whole like challenges. Out of the other two I'd opt for Superstars because the boards are more enjoyable and the other one has some annoying features that you cant switch off. They're all good though, DS is 6 and enjoys playing it by himself sometimes too!

It is the superstars one we have. Looking forward to playing jamboree at Christmas!
