Hi to all you lovely mums!
I hope you are all ok.
Not sure how to start this.
Ive been a single mum for 6 years, recently had a massive family conflict which has resulted in us becoming estranged altogether.
How do u navigate emergency situations with no support.
I am not comfortable with my current neighbour's situations as would feel uncomfortable leaving my children with them if necessary, same with parents at my daughter's school.
Ive basically left an abusive relationship, all asian people are triggering in non safe environments, hence why im so worried to leave my children in case something happens to them
Along with judgement and criticism
Please advise.
Thanks Fran xxx

What kind of emergency situations? Do you have any friends?

RedHelenB · 16/11/2024 16:11

I never had an emergency situation as a single parent so I wouldn't worry too much

I built a network through my job and my daughters hobbies. My old boss used to sometimes pick my daughter up. When something happened this week I phoned an older mum aged work colleague for advice. When my nana died and I wanted to visit the girl I sit next to in work had my daughter for dinner.

Its a new job so i think its about building a network of support
