Me! My birthday was last Friday.

As a child, any birthday money I got ended up being spent on Christmas presents.
As an adult, my dad's funeral was on my birthday.
This year, I ended up in hospital....

My DBs birthday is in early November, as a kids we both thought that all the fireworks were for him .

Oh I love that story. That must have been great as a kid thinking fireworks were in your honor

It was for my DB but I got a bit jealous sometimes. My DPs kept a few rockets and sparklers for my b'day but it wasn't the same my birthday is in summer so rockets didn't look any good.
They said I had the sun instead 😁
