What are the cool, “in” things for early teen boys this year?

Looking for Christmas present inspiration. He has a few things on his list but I’d like to surprise him with something. If you have older teen boys, what cool things do they love?

Your title says early teen boys but your OP says older teens, not sure if that will make a difference to the replies.

Pleasingly headphones and F1 game are already on my list for him.

So interestingly my DS almost 14 and DD's boyfriend (almost 16) have both reverted back to wanting Lego. Which is super easy for me.
They're all so different. DS's mate who is a younger 13 is aftershave and VR obsessed. I honestly think you just have to ask them. Boys are tricky (and so ar DHs!)

Mine also LOVE lego. They both absolutely love the florals Lego and the icons and the architecture. My 12 year old has the Taj Mahal in his room. Lego is definitely on both their lists. We’re actually coming to London after Christmas as well and the Lego store is one of the places they’ve requested to go.
