I have an iPhone 15 so thought an Apple Watch might be handy for Apple Pay and a few other things. I got the SE generation 2 watch. loving it so far.. when I can get it to work?

Noticed when I was wearing my watch (its set to vibrate only, no sound) my iPhone no longer rings or notifies me when I get a call or message etc, Been reading up online and that's normal, all notifications now go to the watch instead of the phone unless I'm using the phone.. all good, only I looked at my watch earlier and had loads of missed calls and texts.. the watch never once vibrated to let me know and the iPhone is obviously not notifying me because the watch is supposed to lol..

I don't want the watch to make a sound for each notification so set it to silent, then set the haptics to vibrate.. but it doesn't vibrate. Been through all notification settings on watch and also also been into the 'mirror my iPhone' notification settings..

Reset the watch and the same thing is happening.

Am I missing a setting somewhere?!

Is it definitely not vibrating? I think you can change the strength of the haptics..... if you have them low and the strap loose they can be really hard feel......
