I'm genuinely so puzzled that mumsnetters are asking for Lego ???
Obviously I must be way behind the times, coz I thought Duplo was for the youngest.
Lego bricks and characters for children that have grown out of Duplo.
Oh yes I forgot there's Lego Technics.
What's happened in the last 25 years for adults to want Lego?
My desired Christmas gift would be anything that I might've put into conversation over the year, in the hopes I'd been listened to.
Hate it when I'm asked what I want as they "have no idea"....
One of my fave scenes from a film was when this guy had secretly watched the woman he loved, browsing market stalls.
She picked up a particular scarf I think it was, she indicated to the stall holder the price of it... she smiled, put the scarf down and walked away...
Some time later after the guy and girl got together, he (without any big show or fuss) just gave it to her... her face showed incredulity and amazement and pleasure all at the same time.
That scene has remained in my head for a long long time.
Oh before I sign off,
Merry Christmas everyone, I hope all your wishes get granted ... big or small.
Special wishes to the poster who wanted to get to the 26th, "for it all to be over".
