My DS hit back

Hello,
I had a mum of my DS's friend contact me saying that my DS had hurt her child. They had hurt their head.I spoke to my DS who said he had pushed his friend back, not first.

I do feel bad with what has happened with DS friend but my DS said he got hurt too when he was pushed first.

The mum has told her son to stay away from my son and called my son a bully!

What do I reply?

Where did this happen?
What age are they ?

Singleandproud · 14/11/2024 19:22

I'd just agree that they obviously aren't getting on at the moment so that was probably a good idea.
I wouldn't comment on the bully comment it won't go well.

Assuming this was at school , report it to them to deal with.

'Recollections may vary. I agree they should stay away from each other for the time being. I will tell my DS it's best to avoid your DS for the foreseeable future, and I trust you will tell your DS the same. Thanks.'

Hi xx
I have spoken to ds who is adamant your son hit him first. Guess there's two sides to every story. Maybe we need to inform the teachers to keep an eye out on them both

Both boys are in secondary school.Yes I have replied saying the above.
