Can anyone help me with this please

I have this light fixture in the hall. The bulb went in it. I don't usually do this but I have noone to help me.

I thought it would be a screw driver to open it but it doesn't look like that when I took a closer look.

Does anyone know how I can open this. Is it just a case of turning the glass part a certain way.

The 3 screws just undo so hold the glass carefully when you do it so it doesn't drop.
You may get away with loosing them all then sliding the glass out.

I've just had a play with mine and the glass comes off just loosening one or two.

The silver surround will come loose too. I managed to break the glass in mine and had to replace the whole bottom part by buying a whole new one! Hopefully you won't but if you need to then it'll be listed under bathroom ceiling lights as that what they're usually used for. It's not difficult just tricky.

I stood on a chair and I can reach it. I turned one of those flatheads a little bit and I got a fright, tightened and left it be. I am afraid of heights.

I will do it again another day when the time is right. Just not today.

I have a similar one in my bathroom, the whole thing just twists off, outer silver bit as well. I've never had to use a screwdriver, it comes off as a single piece.

This is a zoom in of the one I have. I don't know if the whole metal circle thing comes off as well. That looks like somewhat of a flat screw. I think this is what I should do. Loosen these. There's 3 of them.
