I’ve learnt something new today 😊

Could be Ramen. Japanese dishes of noodles in a broth with different extra ingredients

Thanks!

I’ve eaten countless broths in my life, just not accustomed to hot water being poured straight into a dish like this.

It would normally be a broth in already or poured in, but this is from an advert for a kettle, so probably they just wanted to have the water running clear, so creative licence!

It's a very aspirational Pot Noodle

I did wonder, @Weali - I was browsing the Borough Kitchen site and came across the beautiful kettle. Then wondered if the AI assistant had made a mistake.

But I’ll take people’s word for it that plain water poured into one’s dish is perfectly normal.

(I probably tried a Pot Noodle once as a student in the 80’s. Grin)
