Teaspoons

Posting here for traffic.
I have a number of teaspoons that match a stainless steel cutlery set which we use daily. The teaspoons get stained quite quickly and whilst I am able to remove the staining and grime, they don't shine like the rest of the set.
Is there an easy household tip to restore them? Ideally something I don't have to go and buy.

Drop them in bleach for a while then rinse and stick in the dishwasher. Same with mugs.

Bleach.

My mum used to soak them in washing powder.

I use Milton to brighten up cooking utensils.

Washing powder/milton is getting all the stains off but they look dull and clean, not shiny and clean.I want them shiny like the knife and spoon! :)
