Tights for my boy

RareTiger · 14/11/2024 09:33

He's getting cold now and he needs some new tights for under his leggings (autism sensory will only wear leggings) he's 4 in 6-7 clothes i can't Seam to find 6-7 tights near me with no toe seams, I can get 5-6 to small, 7-8 too long, and he doesn't like when they bunch up.

Any ideas on what to do? The warn lined legging are to hot in class for him, why do so many brands skip 6-7?

Different brands are different lengths - perhaps worth exploring.

How about wellie socks over the top of the leggings, like leg warmers?

Why don't you try skins or long johns on him then he can just wear normal socks

Thermal base layer leggings, usually for sport, but tend to be supersoft. Then separate socks. I hate tights myself, far prefer socks.

He's very sensory when it comes to clothes bottoms have to be skin tight don't bunch up and feel soft, socks no end seams over the top on toes is OK but has to line up perfectly, we have tried leg warmers but then streach out and start dropping down, wellies socks are OK but he will only wear them if they ontop of the legging so I might need to look online for black ones school complained about the dinosaur ones last week

Frugi?

have a look at the ski ones.
they are designed to not move too much under the outer layers.
uniqlo is good for those.

Maybe try sports unders too? Just looking at my sons for football and they seem to meet your criteria so try somewhere like sports direct?
