How is it living in Aldershot?

Central Aldershot is not good. Run down and frankly missing the Army whose cash kept it in business. Farnborough and North Camp (what estate agents now like to call South Farnborough) are preferable. The schools are not good but Farnborough 6th Form College is exceptionally good.

The south side towards Farnham is nice but expensive.

I'd have the areas around it, but I'd avoid the 'shot itself if possible.

Thank you for your insight! We have conflicting thoughts about the area cause I see a lot of negative comments online.

However, when we have been there to visit we saw lovely parks and victorian houses. Most of the schools are ofsted rated outstanding. There were also some works going on near the station to improve the road for cyclists and communuters.
