Moving soon and need broadband. No TV package or landline required.

What are they like in terms of cost and customer service?

I've been with plusnet for a few years. Recently moved house and took them along with me. No issues with Plusnet at all, and if I have ever had to contact them it has been easy to do. They are part of BT, but lower costs. I currently pay £27 per month for my Internet.

No problems, good service, helpful customer service people.

I’d say they’ve been the best and cheapest we’ve used so far. The actual service is entirely dependent on the lines (managed by Open Reach generally), but the customer service etc is provided by Plusnet, which has been great.

They used to be brilliant for customer service but it went downhill a bit after the BT buyout. They're still pretty good though.

HappiestSleeping · 14/11/2024 10:55

I've been with plusnet for years. Long before the BT buyout. Their customer service was excellent, and to be honest, it still is, even post buyout.

I don't have a comparator as I haven't used anyone else in all that time. If it ain't broke, no need to fix it.

Cant remember what we pay but been with them for years, never had an issue, when needed customer service has been excellent.

sharpclawedkitten · 14/11/2024 11:06

I think they are excellent. Not had a problem with them at all. Been with them since 2020. I pay around £27 a month as well.

Been with them for 10 years and have no complaints. You have to be vigilant about your contract end dates as they don't notify you (at least, they didn't notify me!) but their customer service is excellent and compensation for not having broadband is very generous.

Been with them for a few years - live in a concrete wall and floors flat. The signal used to go in and out but we installed a Mesh (plug in only) and it's been fine.

No issues so haven't contacted customer service.

With them both for home and studio and they were really helpful when there was an issue with openreach. Switched from BT and really glad I did!
