I need to get this secret off my chest or I will burst!
FIL lives in another country. A few months ago he and I agreed that he would surprise DH (his son) for his birthday by turning up as a surprise! The big day is on Friday.
I'm beyond excited but playing it cool. We have already laid the groundwork. FIL text DH on Tuesday that a birthday parcel is on its way (there isn't). I've been telling DH for some time that I am taking Friday off work do some shopping so need the car (I'll actually be driving to the airport). I've been getting the spare bedroom slowly ready so he doesn't really notice. I did our big food shop to coincide with FIL arriving.
I've deleted all messages from FIL so now can't remember exactly when I need to be at the airport so I better ring him!
I just need to make sure that I don't give anything away. FIL is here until Tuesday and just found out today that DH may need to go on an emergency business trip next week (first one in 11 years, terrible timing) so I really hope it won't be before Tuesday.
Fingers crossed I don't accidentally give it away!
