DPD help!

DPD tried to deliver my parcel but as we weren’t in I got a message saying they had delivered it to my local shop. I’ve been to the shop and they are certain that the parcel isn’t there and advised that I contact DPD. Easier said than done! All of the chat options require me to put in my reference number which for some reason is no longer showing as valid. I can't get entered into the chat without it.

I've tried calling but I don't have time
in the day to wait on hold.

Any ideas on how to contact them? I can't find an email address. I just need to know where my parcel is!

Thanks.

And have you tried the calling card reference rather than parcel ref?

Contact the company you purchased from.

Your contract is with them, theirs is with DPD. If the parcel has been lost they should replace it and take it up with DPD.

This, absolutely this.

I never go traipsing around for parcels any more. Ever. I immediately contact the company I bought from when they go missing apparently delivered down the road somewhere.

It isn't my job to find and deliver my parcels to myself. It is the company I bought from to ensure I receive it. You don't need to contact the delivery company at all.

Yes yes yes! Its so frustrating how delivery companies try and shift the admin on to us as consumers. Its not our job to chase up delivery companies - your contract is for the delivery to be made to your home, not a local shop. Contact the original company if you have not received the delivery - they need to send another.
