I’m horribly sneezy, I cough and then vomit. I’m exhausted and ache but I can’t sleep or rest. Flush hot and cold. It’s just awful

It’s taken down all the adults in the house.

Oh it wasn't that bad for the whole 6 weeks don't worry. After a week the worst was over but just don't rush back to "normal" the cough dragggged

I did have. Was very, very poorly for about five days, then another week to finally shift the cough. Was horrible. I know where I caught it as well and I wasn't impressed with that person being out and about and knowingly spreading their crappy germs because "they have to carry on". They're bloomin' well retired, so no, no they don't have to carry on.

Some retired people feel they have to continue so they don't slow down

Yes but they can put back a family visit, instead of sitting in someone's home while coughing up a lung with a raging fever, so they don't pass it on to two self employed people who don't get paid if they don't work.

True. In my case my in laws insisted on visiting even when warned repeatedly and advised the rest of the family could meet the elsewhere. Aparantly it was fussy of me so guess who got it within a week!!

We had no idea one was very ill and one was starting with it when they turned up after a 45 minute drive to ours. Not my family and my protests of them being there were pointless. Told DH if they do that again I will tell them to leave, regardless of the consequences.

Another symptom seems to be restless legs. They get a twitch in them, they shake and it feels weird. Not exactly painless but it still hurts a little bit.
