The Ship, Brancaster

The Blakeney hotel is amazing.
There's also the Harper in Langham and The Hoste in Burnham Market. Lots of popular restaurants have rooms too. I highly recommend The White Horse in Brancaster also Number Twenty9 in Burnham Market and The Globe in Wells

Brancaster is lovely. I would suggest North Norfolk coast, lovely walks and coastline. If you’re well enough, Norwich is a lovely city for a day trip if you’ve never visited. Hope you recover well OP.

The Globe or The Crown. Both are in Wells so you’ve got Wells beach and the fish and chip shops there. Holkham, Burnham Overy and Burnham market all very close.

CornishTeaTime · 10/11/2024 20:38

Thanks everyone Blakeney looks fully booked sadly

Brancaster. One of my favourite places.

iamsoshocked · 10/11/2024 20:53

I love the beach at Winterton-On-Sea.

Byfords in holt - to stay and also good food! Holt is a lovely town and also not too far from beaches etc

Rocknrollstar · 10/11/2024 21:06

I go for the Brudenell on the prom in Aldeburgh every time.

Davros · 10/11/2024 21:27

There is another hotel in Blakeney near the front, not sure of the name. See my other ideas above. Good luck 💐

The Globe in Wells was disappointing in September but the Wells Crab House was superb.

Im local to the north Norfolk coast and I would try and stay at the white horse in brancaster staithe It’s a beautiful setting and the food is fantastic.
Thornham which is close to brancaster staithe is great for all kinds of fresh locally sourced food as you have Eric’s fish and chips. Eric’s pizza in the yurt and Thornham deli. Also the orange tree pub!

Second thoughts, if you like wildlife you might want to go for somewhere near horsefly or winterton as there will be loads (literally 1000s) of seal pups in a few weeks time.

Isn’t that in Suffolk?

Sea Marge at Overstrand

Caley Hall in Hunstanton. I second the Wells Crab House, but whenever I looked, it’s booked for a month, so plan ahead! (My favourite restaurant in England and we eat out a lot!)

Perplexed20 · 10/11/2024 22:07

What's your budget?
Titchwell hotel? Near Holkham.

BellissimoGecko · 10/11/2024 22:09

I second Caley in Hunstanton. Can recommend the beach cafe at Old Hunstanton and the cafe at Holkham Park. Lots of fab restaurants at King's Lynn too. Lots of lovely walks too.
