Why do my shorts keep rolling up?

I bought thigh length shorts (95% cotton and 5% Elastane)

My flat is the top one so it gets really warm without me putting on heating and I just wanted to wear them to potter around the house. But they they are constantly rolling up - to the point they might as well be a big pair of pants. How can I stop this??

Do you mean the leg parts are rolling up towards the waist band? I'd assume they were the wrong size and too small.

This is why I don’t wear shorts!

I think it’s because the legs are bigger when you bend, walk and sit etc and the arse spreads when you bend and sit so when you are standing still upright they fit but as soon as you move they are too tight for the legs/arse so roll up.

for it to not happen with me I would have to size up several sizes which then would be too big on the waist but also look like culottes when standing still so I don’t bother!

I happens when I sit in particular skirts too. I end up looking like I am wearing a mini skirt when I sit down as it rides right up so I don’t wear certain skirts!
