No, did them twice, it was easy don’t worry you’ll be fine.

My DH has had 3 now, he has colitis and diverticulitis therefore colonoscopy was particularly painful even with sedation, he also couldn’t have gas and air due to having had heart surgery.

Are you saying you have been diagnosed with colon cancer and had subsequently had a painful colonoscopy? If so, I am so sorry, but I 'd suggest you post on one of the colon cancer charities' webstites where you can get informed advice.

If you haven't been diagnosed with colon cancer then you should be deeply ashamed about yourself posting that title with this content. At the end of most colonoscopies they will generally give you an indication of what is found.

I had one 6 years ago. The pain was excruciating and not helped by the scope being too short. I repeatedly asked them to stop, but I was ignored.
They couldn't complete the procedure and zi had to have a ct scan instead.

Nothing untoward was found. However due to my latest bowel screening, showing traces of blood, I'm having to go through it again. I am terrified and have told them, they will need to knock me out.
