Liam Payne - three men arrested

Three men have been arrested in connection with Liam Paynes death.

One was a hotel worker, one was a drug dealer.

It seems they arrested the third man for abandoning Liam Payne, who subsequently died.

Interesting.

At least they are taking the investigation seriously anyway.

What's your thoughts?

Sorry cross posted with your link

Edited

I've supplied a youtube link where a guest says that Liam was

"convulsing "

In the reception area.

Yes.

I thought this was common knowledge. That he was convulsing in reception.

I remember reading about it in lots of news reports at the time.

But posters on here, don't seem to have heard about it at all.

Have people genuinely not heard before today, that he was convulsing in reception?

There were loads of news reports about it at the time.

And there was lots of comments about it at the time, about why did the hotel staff bring him to his room and leave him there, when he had been in a very bad way and convulsing in reception

Yes I remember hearing that at the time @Sandygoldenbeaches , that he had had a fit or collapsed or something. Interesting in the YouTube video that you linked to that the witness said he heard him arguing with a friend earlier. I wonder if that is the person who has been charged with abandonment?

dottiehens · 08/11/2024 15:59

What if that would have happened back home? I know people are upset but he was an adult and yes good the drug dealer was imprisoned but that is because drugs are illegal. Of course if he was convulsing is crazy to leave him.

dottiehens · 08/11/2024 16:02

How many people here are put in a taxi home when drunk or in drugs? without knowing if they can be raped or killed. That is abandonment. Many has disappeared to never be seen and them unexplained deaths have been the conclusion. May be they should have that law here too.

I think the sticking point here is that guests say that they saw liam have a fit/seizure in the reception area

If staff saw that they should have stayed with him and called an ambulance. Rather than make him go back to his room alone.

They did at least call an ambulance. But they put him back in his room by himself

But I thought he was smashing the room up at that point? When is it not abandoning but self preservation. I think the drug dealer should be arrested but the rest is on Liam unfortunately. All the rest is a tragic accident

Yeah isn't it very interesting too that the guest in that video says that screams were heard coming from Liams room right before he died.

Re: abandonment laws. Hell no. We don't have the police for it, they'd be getting called out all the time to take responsibility for someone. Imagine a night out with new friend, discover they're a nightmare drunk who won't go home and wants to stay out or takes drugs and you didn't even know they was a drug user before this, so you're now responsible for them because they're wasted? Even though you've to be up for work next day early and being tired could put your job / lives at risk eg medical care/pilot/driver etc? Fuck that shit. People need to be responsible for themselves.

lolly792 · 30/12/2024 18:09

@Gcsunnyside23 completely agree.

Supplying drugs - absolutely, throw the book at them. But bringing charges against the hotel receptionist for allowing him back to his room- fucking hell that's awful.
