I did it!

What thing on your to do list or nagging job have you completed recently?

I've had some irritating forms on my to do list for a while. The PDF that the organisation had sent wasn't editable. And they needed a 'wet' signature so the forms needed to be printed anyway. Then scanned along with documentary evidence and emailed to a different address. And then a duplicate hard copy set had to be posted in too.

Basically a faffy crappy job. And I did it! It has been ticked off my to do list!

I mean really, it was hardly a trial but it was the thing that kept getting bumped down my list 😄

Went from 45 emails to 5. Go me.

And go you!

Well done OP!

It's a real sense of relief and achievement when we actually get the thing we had been putting off doing out of the way isn't it?

Got a picture rail up to hang up all the puppets in my bedroom so they're not all tangled. Now my bedroom wall is full of faces but it's better than the clump of jumbled limbs that was there before.
That job had been on the list for years and the whiteboard marker on the whiteboard job list was hard to erase.

And on top of the above, I've been offered a job this week and I heard today that I've been successful in my application for a volunteer role I've been interested in for a while. Due to the nature of the role the selection progress is quite rigorous so it feels like a real achievement.

This has been the best week in a long time! The past few years have been pretty packed with bereavements, ill health, financial uncertainty and so on. I'm so happy and excited I don't know what to do with myself. I hope any of you who are struggling also get a massive pick-me-up soon.

Yay. And sorry for the difficulties before. Flowers
