Potty training - it’s going too well…

Started today after having the potty in plain sight for ages, roleplaying toys doing a pee pee in the potty, emphasising being a big kid etc.

We had one accident before breakfast, and the rest of the day has been flawless - everything has gone into the potty and we even made one trip to the big toilet.

Currently feeling like Jo Frost.

Is day 2 going to bring me back to earth, or am I just an incredible parent lucky and this will be an easy ride?

I have 3 dc.
Dc1 was dry in the day from day 1 not one accident, after 7 days refused a nappy at night and never had an accident. Aged 2 1/2.
Dc2 horrendous first day, dry after that. Aged 2yrs 5 months.
Dc3 perfect first day (was older than ither two at 2 yrs 10 months) but then went down hill and had accidents until aged 8 (was under continence service long slog).
So my advice don't take anything for granted and see what happens.

It's a lottery as far as I can tell. Or Russian roulette.

But everyday is a win so congrats so far!

So totally opposite ends of the spectrum for your kids!

Counting my blessings tonight but we need to go out tomorrow so I may well return in a different mood. 😂
