DS s getting a new phone for Christmas. I’ve started to look around. Our currently supplier want £47 for an iPhone 15 per month. I explained their prices seem really high when compared to Carphone warehouse and even buying the handset outright and a gift gaff sim at £10.

He went off on one telling me they don’t have the same support or standard of signal and said giff gaff just tag on o2 so there are always signal issues. He also said something about the quality of the hand set provided by a big named provider. I wish I could remember exactly what he said.

I take it he’s just taking the piss trying to get us to stay? We do live semi rurally in Scotland so signal is always a concern. Even Carphone Warehouse have better Vodafone deals than Vodafone are offering us.

We usually buy a handset outright and then have sim cards from EE

I’ve found sky mobile the best for price per tarriff. Currently paying £29 a month for an iPhone 16

Buy the iPhone 15 direct from Apple using their interest free 12 months option. Then buy a monthly sim from your current provider.

Thanks. Yes I think I’ll buy the phone outright and then a SIM card.
