Please help me find a pillow

I need a pillow that doesn't hurt my neck.
I've tried all sorts, don't like memory foam, the ones with the curve for your neck, buckwheat which was like a bag of sand.
I want a pillow that isn't too soft that it collapses with the weight of my head but isn't like a brick. I don't want a chemical smell when I open it.
Can anyone recommend one?

A wool pillow from The Woolroom. It can have wool added/taken away to suit your sleeping style. I find it perfect for side sleeping, just as it comes.

Dunlopillo (now Relyon) are the best pillows in the world. Eye-watering expensive but last forever!

I second this. I bought numerous pillows over the years until about 5 years ago I bought a Dunlopillo serenity latex pillow, it is fantastic! So comfortable and supportive and never needs plumping, not at all hot or sweaty, perfect. It cost about £90 but it's been so worth it, I can see it lasting for many more years so cost per use will be negligible compared to the many other useless pillows I've had. It comes with a zipped washable cotton cover and I use a pillow protector and 2 pillowcases so plenty of washable layers to keep it clean.

I love my memory foam pillow......... but I hate the smell. And what a completely unnatural product it is. Yes its great for me as a pillow but as an actual product its totally not me at all (I much prefer natural, sustainable choices).

@ParisGellerFTW where did you get your wool pillows from?
I second the suggestion of trying Dunelm mill to have a look at their excellent range of pillows.

Relyon latex pillows are like sleeping on a cloud😴and they have specific ones for side sleepers.

I have a relyon latex in my amazon basket. They are so expensive though and I can't really afford it.
There is deep and slim not sure which to go for.

I got one from Ciora and then one from Woolroom a few months later. Just got one to try first as they're not cheap.

I had my eye on the relyon pillow but couldn't justify the expense. I came across these pillows from The Fine Bedding Co in-store and they seemed the right level of medium firm and 'bounce'. Bought one to try out and got another the following month. Never slept better! Six months on and they're as good as new. https://www.finebedding.co.uk/products/boutique-silk-pillow

Well, I have wool fill pillows and I adore them. You can buy extra filling so you can just add or remove some to suit.

I will say that the first few nights I thought I'd made an expensive mistake. But they settled down and as long as I plump them every so often, they're brilliant.

Second this. I got mine from The Wool Room and they're fantastic. They have a cotton washable outer zip cover with wool filling inside. They provide a bag to put the wool in for when you wash the outer cover.

Another vote for a wool pillow, I bought mine from Baavet https://baavet.co.uk/wool-pillows/ and it's filled with tiny chopped up 'curls' of wool.
There's no smell and you can add/take away the filling to make it the right size. When I first had mine I took some of the filling out and kept in a plastic bag and then added back in over the next few weeks to get it to the size I wanted.
It's need fluffing every week or so and about once every sixth months I unzip the cover and tease the wool clumps apart by hand to separate them.
I particularly like it as dust mites won't live in wool so helpful with allergies.
I reckon I've had mine about four years now and it's still good as new

Buying a pillow is not just choosing an accessory for your bed, but an important step toward improving the quality of your sleep. A pillow should support the correct position of your head and neck to avoid discomfort or pain in the morning. To do this, choose models with orthopedic properties that suit your sleeping position. I recently heard about https://youcomfort.com/. Soft, hypoallergenic materials will also help create a comfortable sleeping environment.

I’ve just bought Dorma Dream pillows for our beds. Saw it on display in Dunelm and it was so lovely, thought I’d give it a try at £22, bought one to start with. We all have them now and are really pleased with them.
