A member of my family has a six year old daughter and their partners mother and her partner have split up the man has kept residence in the home and wants the child to stay with him over night this would involve her sleeping in the same bed as him he has known the child from birth but is not a blood relative di you consider this appropriate ?

No, I don’t think that’s appropriate at all.

Nope absolutely not

Lifeglowup · 06/11/2024 19:50

It’s not appropriate for a child to be given the option of a bed of their own.

Why would they have to share a bed?

ManhattanPopcorn · 06/11/2024 19:55

I'm really struggling to follow that, tbh.

However, it's never appropriate for a 6 year child to to be sharing a bed with anyone other than parents or siblings.

That's exactly my thoughts thank you
