Hi PrincessHoneysuckle, would you like us to move your thread to our Menopause topic? You'll get plenty of advice and support over there.

I started a month ago. Same age.

I’ve been on Elleste Duet for three years.

Started on 1mg but it did absolutely squat. I took it for three months with no improvement in my symptoms at all so my GP upped it to 2mg. It took about another three months for me to start to feel better but when I did it was amazing. No more sweating, brain fog, violent mood swings and meltdowns. I’ve honestly never felt better now but don’t be surprised if the 1mg doesn’t do much for you. My best friend who’s the same age started the 1mg two years ago and like me it didn’t help at all.

My symptoms aren't too bad atm but I'm due a review in 3 months so if does nothing I'll.ask them to put it up

I’ve been prescribed Elleste duet 1mg I’m starting them tomorrow I am 47 years old still having periods my symptoms are aching joints I’m in pain daily I’ve been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and anxiety but I’m not sure if the aching joints is peri menopause my Gp has basically told me to try the HRT to see if they help with my aching joints and if it doesn’t help it’s down to fibromyalgia I’m in two minds whether to start these HRT tablets but the aching joints are really getting me down it’s painful most mornings and if I fall asleep on the sofa I’m aching when I get up I feel like the tin man of the wizard of Oz
