Tombolas

How often do tombolas come up? Sometimes I see the suggestion that someone keep an unwanted gift to donate to a tombola. I can't remember the last time I saw one. Perhaps at my primary school? I rather figured they had died out. So how often do tombolas come up in your life?

I'm the PTA Chair - we do a tombola every year at Sports Day - so once a year for me.

We did two this past weekend! One at a church winter fair and the other at someone's market stall (prizes were her produce).

My daughters primary does bottle tombola at their Christmas fairs.
Always popular.
Oh and I had a go on one at a Lego Show last weekend.

I volunteer at community events throughout the year and attend some too and I've never noticed a tombola. I imagine for the next year I'll suddenly see them everywhere 😂

I live a tombola and I am sure they are at every summer fete, Xmas thing or any other similar event I have ever been too. Plus they have children's ones with soft toys and sweets
