Haricot beans

I've finally got around to sorting out my kitchen cupboard of doom and have found that I somehow have 6 tins of haricot beans.

I've no idea what I used to make with them, so please could anyone recommend some recipes?

Thank you

I have them in salads, add them to trays of roasted veg, and make a delicious bean chilli.

All sorts!

Baked beans. You make your own tomato sauce, it's super easy.
Add them to curry.
Add them to soup, perfect weather for it and I'd suggest a thinner unblended sort like minestrone.
Bean and sausage stew. All sorts of recipes out there.
Blend them into a hummus in place of chickpeas.
Roast them with smoked paprika and crunch on them.
Add them to shakshuka.
Add to a salad with a nice light dressing.
Have them with a homemade tomato sauce with mash and veg.
They're lovely in a chilli .
Add them to a stir fry.
Spice them up and have them in pitta breads with salad and avocado.
Add to nachos in the tomato sauce.
Nice on a tray bake of veg.
Have them with white fish; bake it all in a bag and put them underneath, nice squeeze of lemon.
Add to couscous or Quinoa. Also nice with savoury rice.
Make your own veggie burgers! They're quite crumbly so perfect for this. Sausages also.

They're also delicious in a cheesy wrap! Add a bit of spice and fridge them, eat them cold and they're a gorgeous lunch. Don't melt the cheese though, I think this one is nice really fresh. Maybe even a bit of lime.

Ooh, I do a chilli type sauce with tomatoes, beans, whatever veg and spices you like, and as a topping put in 2 cups (originally an American recipe I found) of yogurt, one of grated cheese, I use half fat but not necessary, two eggs and some paprika. Whisk, pour over and bake until golden. Cheesy, proteiny and tasty!

Quick Cassoulet, especially if you have some other kinds of beans as well.

make a white bean mash - olive oil instead of butter - to accompany chops/fish/whatever instead of potato

Bean salad with tuna or ham for a quick lunch.

Make a haricot bean hummus instead of using chickpeas, with garlic & lemon juice, serve with pitta bread or similar, or use with falafel in wraps etc. Don't forget that you can use any beans to make a hummus style spread.

Make a potato onion and bean layered bake similar to Boulangere potatoes, to go with daube of beef or ragu or braised lamb.

Another vote for quick cassoulet, use two or three types of sausage, diced belly pork is a good addition also.
