I need a new kettle and would like one that has NO plastic on the interior (lid/viewing window/filter/measuring strip etc etc)

but I CANNOT find one in the UK!! I’ve been googling all afternoon with no luck…

No advice, but for the love of God do not buy a Ninja! I've had 2 now and they've both had issues and not worked 😑

Yep, I think this is what I'm going to have to do.

Isn’t it mad how hard we have to work to avoid eating plastic these days

This! We have an Alessi stovetop one. I got in America but you can also buy them here.

https://ottonifabbrica.com/en/ these do plastic free electric kettles (I'm not sure if all the models are but know someone who loves the Alice model which has zero plastic)

Thank you - I did see them earlier, they’re beautiful kettles but couldn’t find a uk stockist, so was unsure if they’d have the correct UK plug 🤔

You cam order from the website - there is a drop down to select which plug you want

I saw a couple of gorgeous super shiny old skool hob kettles in TK Maxx recently. If you decide to go that way.
I'd have one, but not sure if they'd work on a induction hob. 🤔

I bought a 1960s electric kettle on eBay. It works perfectly and has no plastic.
