Vodaphone or O2?

Looking to change my mobile phone provider as my contract is up this month, and my current contract is expensive. I’ve been with Tesco (O2) and very happy with it, but there’s a monthly contract on TalkTalk (Vodaphone) that looks OK.
Are people happy with the coverage on TalkTalk/Vodaphone, or should I stick with what I know?

It completely depends where you live. Vodafone used to be great everywhere but not so much recently. It's absolutely fine where I live, but I get zero coverage the next town over.

We're in the process of all leaving Vodafone right now. The coverage is fine but the customer service is appalling.

We've just had it yet again that DH has paid a bill but then had messages saying it's not been paid. He phoned them to be reassured that yes they have the payment. Then he'll get the messages again and he has to phone again. They added a late payment fee despite assuring him they had the payment on time and there wouldn't be a fee (this has happened multiple times) and instead of refunding it this time they've offered it back as a Morrisons gift card.

This isn't a one off situation. It happens almost every single month. We've even had them cut off the service in the past despite the fact we have paid the bill.

One DC and I have already left, about to switch our other DC and then we just have to wait for DH's contract to run out and he's leaving them too.

OK thanks, sounds like I should stick with what I know!

Vodaphone are a truly awful company. Customer service is bordering on abusive. I had a ghastly experience with them.

Definitely stick with 02.

Vodaphone are horrendous.

Definitely O2, vodafone chased me for years for bills that had been paid, had the receipt stapled to them, they actually sent bailiffs and even they didnt know why they were being sent when i had the proof they were paid. Turns out i had used payzone or similar to pay them and they hadnt collected the money from them, even after they realised they tried to take me to court for it. The signal was great, the customer service was dire and caused way more stress for me than necessary

Depends on the coverage.
O2 doesn't cover well where we live so DH and I are with EE.
DD is with Voxi.

YY check coverage! Even better, ask locally (friends, local fb group) what they recommend.

Vodafone says it works here... maybe in parts of the village, but not in my street.
EE coverage is very reliable IME.
