Our neighbour is a nightmare. For context, we're not alone in struggling with him and get on well with everyone else on our street!
He has recently redone his kitchen and now has an extractor fan. The outlet is directly under our bathroom window.
We leave this window almost permanently open for ventilation but whenever he cooks the whole of our house absolutely stinks of whatever he's cooking 🙁
The other day I thought Dh stank of bo (which would be unusual) but quickly realised it was the smell of fried onions pouring in the window!
It's horrendous some days and I have actually tried to politely raise it with him but was told 'he couldn't give a shit'
Is there anything we can do? Are there any rules or regulations for this sort of thing?
There's absolutely no way he'll change it just to be neighbourly!
