I never used a drill before but I learned over the past few weeks. I put some some shelves and I am on a roll doing some DIY and cleaning and I am making progress.

I am looking at something like this. I would like to work on something like this but tomorrow and ideally with things I have already at home if that's a possibilty.

Picture attached.

Any ideas. I don't have any cord or string. I only have a small local corner shop. I don't know what they would have. I am eager to learn.

Please help?

Or should I just buy something online and wait it out. I don't know.

Well, I think you would ideally need something with some stretch, so unless you have some jersey fabric lying round that you want to double over, hem and then have some eyelets that could be fitted into it to create the places it would attach to the wall, plus preferably some ribbon or similar to actually do the attaching, then I think anything you make at home will probably be unsatisfactory.

You could do it if you did the above though, I think.

I made one out of a shower curtain I had hanging around, it was one of the more fabric ones rather than plastic. Do you have any blankets you don't need anymore?

For string, the corner shop may have some garden twine, parcel string or wool.
