Afternoon Tea ideas?

Could anyone recommend somewhere posh on London for a 60th birthday afternoon tea present for my husband? He loves tea made with leaves, not from bags and I would love to treat him to something a bit different than the Ritz etc. We would be travelling quite a way so it would be great treat. Does the Ivy Asia do anything like that? Thanks for any suggestions.

Claridges does the best afternoon tea in London, but you usually need to book 3 months in advance.
For something more unusual, try Shangri La at the Shard.
Any place worth anything would always serve proper tea "made with leaves" - there's usually a choice of any number of types of tea.

Thanks. Not going until March so some time to book. Is Shangri-la high up in the Shard? He doesn't do heights😂
