Hi,

I’ve posted in here for traffic as I think the weight loss threads can be a bit quiet.

I’ve just restarted SW and we’re having a get together with friends and takeaway; what arr the best options please?

Thanks in advance.

I would always get a beef of chicken chow mein, Plenty of veggies but obviously have to syn the oil it's cooked with.

I don't know the SW rules but my friend used to have tandoori chicken breast and plain rice or a balti.
I think she broke their rules with the poppadoms and sauces though.

Chicken tikka (dry), with salad

Beef tomato and boiled rice from the Chinese takeaway.

Doner kebab - but not a huge portion of meat!
pitta, meat, ask for extra salad but minimal mayo.

something stir fried from the Chinese takeaway - avoiding batter, chips, prawn crackers etc. (or a few if you are the sort of person who can just have a few)

Dominoes - 3 slices would be around 500-600 calories if you choose a topping with mainly veg or possibly chicken. So either share, or save some for tomorrow.

Definitely not donner meat. It's dripping in fat and grease. There's about 1500 calories in your average donner kebab. Grilled chicken or lamb would be a lighter option.

Thanks everyone! I went for donner..but only had the smallest amount off my husband’s and filled a wholemeal pitta with that and loads of salad. So I got the taste but mostly filled up with salad.

I'd have gone for a chicken shish kebab instead of doner but glad you enjoyed.
