I've literally just lit the fire as a marker for me not moving for the night. DH away. DS at party. I'm having a ready meal lasagne (Charlie Bigham one on yellow sticker !)
I'd be looking forward to a relax but DDOG is already fretting about fireworks. Have administered the first of the tablets we had prescribed and hope they help him. Does anyone have some good feel good tv (no shouting or bangs!) to recommend? I'm on Ainslie Christmas at the minute which is quite soothing

Just eaten a smoked salmon chilli soy pea rice thingy with some home made chapatis ( made chicken curry for everyone else,). Followed by apple, pear and plumb crumble with double cream. Now sitting on the kitchen sofa with a glass of red. Cat is sneaking the cream in the bowl next to me. Kids are on various screens. DH is sitting next to me enjoying a cuppa and a Halloween cupcake. I'm trying to make him buy a euro millions card. Probably going to watch a bit of telly and go to bed early cos I have a rotten cold.

Watching Beauty in Black on Netflix, whilst cuddling up to 3 labradors, drinking wine and nibbling on cheese and nuts, as I can’t be arsed to prepare a meal 🙃.

Thanks, I'm going to read some Father Brown mysteries and work on my dissertation a bit. Got to keep on working to the goal of moving out again!

Just back from city with teens

Watching my BF cook dinner while drinking wine (me not him, he has to go out to collect a child later!)

The kids are in bed so we’re about to watch the final two episodes of Agatha All Along

That sounds tough. Hope you have got to your destination safely, and can find something warm to eat, even if it's just a cuppa-soup.

Dinner is done. Kitchen is tidy. I have a livestream in my earbuds and just chilling on here a bit. Dh is basically asleep next to me on the sofa. Kids are watching police interceptors. Cats are hiding under the bed.

Tucking into leftover ToT sweets while watching Endeavour on DVD.

Sat watching the Addams family with the DC. They're getting on each other's nerves and are starting to row so going to separate them both and get everyone to bed I think.
I've had a wierd week with a real roller coaster of highs and lows.

Had some sad news this evening about a friend of exDh's and it's thrown me a bit to be honest. I feel desperately sorry for his young DC who will now grow up without their father. Watching my kids fight and just want to tell them to pack it in and be grateful we have each other! I won't though. I'll just hug them till they tell me to sod off.

In front of the fire doing some catch up tv in my pjs with a tea. DD at uni texting me about going out "in a bit" and me reminiscing about how I used to go out at that time and now it's my worst nightmare 😅

Had a very sad doggo last night so gave second tablet and he eventually conked out but I bloody hate fireworks
