Do you know when you get new glasses, can you ask for your details - eye prescription?

I am interested in finding a deal online on glasses.

I got my eyes tested this week and will get new glasses next week. I am interested in getting more glasses so that I can have a few pairs and I am interested in finding a deal online.

I would like sunglasses prescription or even glasses where the lenses change from inside to outside.

I was told I need to wear glasses for reading and TV and for work too. I am short sighted in one eye.

I wonder would I benefit from wearing glasses all the time? Or would I benefit from maybe wearing glasses while I am shopping in say like a town or city so that it can help me read long distances.

You should get your prescription from your optician. You don't even have to get any of your glasses from them if you don't want.
I wear varifocals; this means I can see to read close up and helps my distance vision as well (which isn't as bad).

My optician always gives me a copy of the prescription. Just ask for it

They are legally obliged to provide you with your Prescription at the time of the Eye Test.

We give it out at the end of the eye test, if you don't have it ask for a copy.
