What’s everyone doing today?

We will be trick or treating

Been swimming and now we're decorating the house, then we'll be carving pumpkins and then I'm taking my youngest and his mates Halloweening and back to ours for a mini party. If I'm not on my arse after all that I might watch a zombie movie.

Once the tiny ghouls have been and gone (so 8pm is) or earlier if I run out of sweets we’ll be having a massive roast dinner and probably watching a film.

I have today off but back at work tomorrow.

I've been out and about this morning at the shops and have made a batch of Halloween cupcakes. Taking DC trick or treating when it gets dark then back home for a bonfire after that with the cousins. We're in Ireland so bonfire is tonight.

Family friendly horror movie then bed for the kids
Then me and the husband will have a few dribks and chat with (grandparents are here staying so they are on duty) then we will all watch a horror film that my mother will love and my dad will act like he's not scared 😂

Also bought myself some of those ugg like slip ons but a much cheaper pair from Pamela Scott. I'm plan to wear them when I'm running to do drop off and collections but need to figure out what to wear them with, I'm trying to make an effort to be more up to date with what's in fashion here (though I find that mid ireland fashion is still 5 years behind london fashion 😂)

Absolutely nothing - at dusk the hall lights will be off and the curtains drawn. For almost the first time in 20 years I am not tits deep in bits of pumpkin and my front garden is not decorated with lit up vegetables, witches and bats.
My youngest child is now 17 and couldn't be arsed with it this year. We've only missed 2 Halloweens in all this time and I am NOT sorry to not be doing it.
I am slightly sorry not to be having spicy pumpkin soup tonight, though.

I've just been scared to death and jumped out of my skin when the window cleaner appeared at the window 🤣. Hopefully that's the only Halloween fright today. I'm working from home, DDs are at holiday club doing lots of Halloween crafts. When they get home we've got crisps and dips for snacks to tide them over until a later dinner after 7pm as last year we were continually getting up from the dinner table to answer the door to trick or treaters.

So from 5ish to 7pm we'll be handing out sweets and then will have some Halloween party food with a film.

I have been to the gym. Am at work. Finishing here at 5. Then home for dinner and bed. Rinse and repeat tomorrow. God my life is boring 😂

Mostly lying by a pool in Cyprus.

we did pop out to a market earlier and I risked a float on the lilo (the pool is chilly!)

LASIK consultation this morning.
Came home and had a bath whilst waiting for my eyesight to return to normal
Now watching a film before making dinner then going trick or treating

Blood tests. Trip to the cinema and then pizza hut with dcs. Put out thr decorations. Watching The Lost Boys while waiting to be knocked up. So to speak

Spending it in bed and shutting the world out.
