Working from home loneliness

Has anyone found a way to combat this?

My company doesn’t have an active office near me and I don’t want to leave because I love the job but I feel incredibly lonely during the week. What I’d really like is to go for a walk or coffee with someone just once a week to break things up but I don’t have any local friends. I’m sure there must be others who are in similar positions? Thinking about whether to join an app (like Bumble BFF?) and try to find a local friend but it’s daunting. Open to other suggestions if anyone has any.

Whereabouts do you live? There might be suggestions based on approximate location.

My sisters partner has always WFH and only when he had to because of works on their house he found a co-working space and I think goes there most of the week now. Have a look to see if there is somewhere like that in your area. They seem to be pretty social there and it’s sort of a bring your laptop job
