Would it look cheap to wear novelty Christmas earrings out in the eve ?

as the title says. I have seen these and think they look great fun But will I look cheap wearing them ? I wont be wearing them to a super posh top-of-the-range restaurant or a black tie type of event.

I have several pairs of novelty Christmas earrings, also brooches, that I wear over the festive season. People usually admire them while laughing (in a good way 😁). Wouldn't bother me if anyone thought them cheap!

In my view, yes, but I won't be there. Ultimately, we can all wear whatever we want to wear.

But surely Christmas is the one time where you can be cheap and tacky and no one will care? Christma jumpers galore and all that.

I don’t think that from a distance you can tell they are supposed to be festive so it might just look like you’re wearing sparkly flamingo earrings, which could be perceived as tacky.

I love them too, where did you get them? But I really wouldn't think of them as Christmas related. But anyway I would wear them anyway all year round, it doesn't really matter what folk think.

Wear them! Christmas is fun and silly, enjoy it! We've a collection of ugly festive jumpers and even my "came out the womb in a waistcoat" DH dons one! 😁 I have sparkly tights and all sorts; couldn't care less what anyone thinks!
