Returned an online order from Next back to the shop today..lady scanned the code and threw the item in a box full of clothes..she didn't fold the item up just threw it in a box!
Do the items get sent back to the warehouse to be repackaged?

Judging by some of the things I have received, complete with make up smudges and clicks in the fabric, they do get repackaged and sent out again. Which is better than disposed of I guess!

Yes, checked and repacked to be sold again.

I'm just mindless wondering because she threw it in a box like a you'd throw rubbish in a bin!

The returned stuff likely just gets shipped back to Next warehouse in a box, probably on the return van that delivers the click and collect to be repackaged in a repackaging part of the warehouse. Some retailers use repackaging companies so Next may use these instead rather than in house

I thought this the other day returning some school trousers still on the hangers and perfect, she stuffed them in a container where they were scrumpled and crushed in, couldn't believe they weren't just going back on the shop floor or at least packed nicely for the warehouse.

Ha, I've spotted they just chuck them around so when I was repackaging my items tonight to return by courier - the ones they sent hanging (WHY) I just took out the hangers and stuffed into the bag.
