Budget - carers allowance

BBC are reporting that carers allowance will increase.

Has this been misinterpreted. I thought the change is that carers can earn the equivalent of 16 hours at minimum wage before losing their benefit.

I watched that bit. The carers allowance will rise in line with inflation in April, and the earnings limit will increase to 16 hours at NLW.
