GP or private?

My 13yr old DD has got an ingrowing hair follicle on her cheek, obviously she is quite self conscious about it.

I had one near my eye as a child and had electrolysis to remove it under the NHS. Does anyone know if it is still a service offered by the NHS or if we need to go private?

Also does anyone know of any private clinics in the North East Wales/Cheshire area that would treat a child?

Why don’t you ring your GP surgery and ask them?

NHS won't do this, assuming it's purely cosmetic.

I did think that they may no longer offer it. Yes I could ring the GP but I thought I’d see if anyone had any recent experiences and ask for recommendations for private.
