Whilst one of the more benign articles in this rag, the writing in this article is awful! It makes no sense; in one paragraph saying he was in the coma for nearly 40 years, but yet had a child in their 30s.

( I should point out, I’m expecting an article to drop about my employer hence the Daily Fail read.)

Tragedy of the man stuck in March 20, 1980 for the last five years

Luciano D'Adamo was involved in a horrific hit-and-run car accident in Rome almost four decades ago, but when he awoke in hospital five years ago, he thought he was still in 1980.

Yes, it's confusing. I read it that the accident and coming out of the coma both happened five years ago, but that when he woke up he was stuck in 1980, but then his wife says the accident happened 39 years ago. He can't have been in the coma when he got married, went to Paris etc, so it must be the first scenario and the reporter must've misunderstood.
