I'm appealing to the might of the hive mind of Mumsnet!
I'm researching the use of forensics in solving crimes. I'm focusing on DNA, entomology (insects) and proteomics (protein identification). I really need some statistics on how often these methods are used and what percentage of crimes they have 'solved'. But it's proving very difficult to find this info. Of course it will vary according to the source but really anything will help!
If anyone can point me to any statistics (doesn't have to be UK based) it would be great! Thank you.
