Fitbit?? Need waterproof watch with multiple alarms/reminders - help please!

DS10 has daytime (and nightime) wetting issues, in the past we bought him a Vibr (?) watch which allowed us to set multiple alarms reminding him to go to the loo, and it did help a bit. However, it wasn't waterproof, he forgot to take it off in the shower and you can guess the rest.

There aren't many 'specialist' reminder watches, and they are either not waterproof or don't get great reviews.

I'm now wondering about a Fitbit or similar (Garmin?) but I've never had one so don't know if this is a good option. I'm really not keen on any of the smartwatch functionality and don't want to give him something he will be constantly fiddling with, plus I don't like the idea of a tech company tracking his health data through it. So the more basic the better (or alternatively I'd want to be able to disable virtually all the functionality which for most people would be defeating the object)

I'd be so grateful if anyone can share their experiences as to whether a Fitbit or similar this might be a good option for us, or if you can't get away from all the added functionality.

thank you!

My Fitbit is absolutely useless at reminders/notifications because the vibrate function is completely non-functioning. Even when I do get it to briefly co-operate with reminders/notifications, the vibration is so weedy that it is barely noticeable.

I think Fitbit are going into administration. They were always a bit crap but customer services would send you a new one if it had stopped working in the year so I didn't mind too much. My last one was involved in the mass update they sent out which killed loads of people's watches so they wouldn't turn on so couldn't be fixed. - Would not recommend.

I have a Garmin Vivosport and like it very much, I'm not sure it allows multi alarm setting.

Thanks, yes I've read a few rumours that Google (who must now own them?) may discontinue Fitbit as they have their own Pixel watches, though Google currently denying the rumours... sounds like best to avoid either way.
