When does everyone carve their pumpkins?

I was thinking about doing it tomorrow but it's far warmer than usual and don't want it going gunky by Halloween so Wednesday evening, I think.

On Halloween day. In the bin on the 1st. Smells awful.

I always did mine in the daytime of the 31st, but if I couldn't then the day or evening before is fine. You could put it in the fridge if there's room, or any cool place like a porch or garage.

More people seem to like putting decorations out for most of October, I do ours on the 31st and take it all down and tidy up on November 1st. It feels like a lot of faff for a few hours but it's all in the spirit...
