Anyone really good with Excel?

I have 2 separate spreadsheet documents. I’d like to merge them into one document but have each year with a separate sheet tab. I can add next year by selecting the + tab at the bottom but how can I add 2023 in before 2024. I can copy and paste but it’s losing all of my page settings.

I hope that makes sense. Thanks.

Open both workbooks. Right click on the tab of one, select move or copy, then select the workbook the other is in. Click create a copy. Click OK.

If you right mouse click the sheet name, so the bit at the bottom, not select the contents, it will give you the option to copy or move the whole sheet. Choose whichever works for you, then the new document as destination, and your preferred order. Note: the default option is "move". If you want to copy the sheet, you need to check the box below the location bit.

If you have any sheets out of order, you can just click on the sheet name and drag it to the new position, so don't worry too much.

Brilliant. Thanks both. That’s worked.
