Badge makers

My 11yo would love a badge maker - does anyone have personal experience of using one that they can recommend? Max budget £70-£80.

I’ve spent ages looking at reviews on Amazon (ie Vevor ones) but you get some saying they’re great but others saying to avoid. One brand website has positive reviews with some saying to ignore the negative reviews, but I haven’t been able to see these negative reviews, so it’s hard to know what to believe…

So I’d appreciate it if anyone who has used one could share their experiences please (and mention the brand too please or provide links as there are lots of similar ones).

A search on here has people recommending Badge Its, but I’m not sure if these are made any more, as I can’t see them other than on eBay, and I need to be able to buy refills.

I was hoping for one that makes proper badges, but there are also compact ‘badge artist’ ones that look like they make clear plastic badges instead. There are only a couple of reviews though, but if they are more reliable then they would be an option.

We got a Vevor one and it's great.
You do have to press the handle down quite hard but other than that it's fine.

Thanks. Do you have the red metal version that makes one size?

I'd love one, for myself!

My DD had one a long time ago and we had a lot of fun. But yes, you do need a bit of strength to get the handle down.

@darktulip the one we have came with just one size of badges (you could choose which to get) then you can buy the other sizes and they are interchangeable.

Thanks, it’s good to know that that’s an option.

AutumnCrow, I am excited about the prospect of getting one myself!
