Half term - take advantage & have a lay in or go early and at my desk early?

No school run or cajoling the DC to get up. I could be at my desk for 7am this week (WAH) or take advantage and enjoy a lay in every day.

Wwyd ?

Can you do a bit of both?

Singleandproud · 29/10/2024 05:54

I tend to start earlier so I can finish at 3 and still do things with our evenings.

Laptoppie · 29/10/2024 05:56

Presumably you can finish earlier than usual if you start work sooner than usual? I'd go for 7 for sure and then have more of the rest of the day, but I'm an early bird!

IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads · 29/10/2024 06:22

Exactly what I am wondering now.

BananaNirvana · 29/10/2024 06:24

Definitely early to work and early home but I’m not much of a sleeper 😄

unlikelychump · 29/10/2024 06:27

I'm alate late type. So I am doing 10-17.30 tonight. Lovely.

ExquisiteIyDecorated · 29/10/2024 06:35

I went in half an hour early yesterday just because I could and will do the same today so I can get home and go for a run before if gets completely dark.

Frostycottagegarden · 29/10/2024 06:37

Lan was to go in early, but I'm still lying in bed, just because I can this week.

Unexpecteddrivinginstructor · 29/10/2024 07:09

I think I have just made the decision to start at 7.30 (wfh also) and my future self will thank me for it!

DappledThings · 29/10/2024 07:11

Mix it up. Lie in a couple of times, early start a couple of times. Don't lay anywhere unless you're a chicken.
