Can I see a picture of your favourite mug?

I love mugs, have started collecting them a few years ago and can never have enough. My favourite mug was a beautiful blue terracotta one I got from Greece years ago but it broke during a house move (still upsetting!). I am on a mission to find new ones to add to my collection.
Do you have different favourite ones for tea and coffee ?

I knew this thread would end up costing me money! 😂 I love these. And the NHS one would be perfect for work (I’m a nurse).

Just a good old Denby one. But it holds my coffee perfectly!

She has such beautiful things and I’m lucky that she’s local so can get things easily.

My West Wing Weekly mug - it’s merch for the West Wing rewatch podcast. I paid for it in dollars on my debit card, so had to pay fees, had to pay international shipping and a customs charge so it must have cost about £50 by the time it arrived but it’s my favourite ever mug and is only allowed to be used by me. If it ever breaks I’ll cry.

I also have a slightly chunkier version of these which are a suitable alternative for when my West Wing Weekly mug is dirty

A few years old now but still looking good

This is my absolute favourite mug. I’m very particular about them.

Must be chunky, decent size handle with good space between the mug and the inside edge, must hold a lot of tea/coffee/hot squash/hot chocolate. Must be pretty.

Blue patterned thin one for coffee (very old cheap one from Sainsbury's), chunky emma Bridgewater one for tea

I like my William Morris china mug for tea. I think tea tastes better out of a taller, thinner mug.

For coffee I prefer stoneware and a rounder shape but this Denby one is my current favourite.

I agree that the handle has to be big enough, with enough space from the edge of the mug. And I hate drinking out of extremely chunky mugs.

Daily use for my morning coffee is the blue Disney 2000 mug, it's huge and perfect, even after all these years! Recently found this blue and black one on EBay so snapped them up immediately as back ups!
But when sitting out in the garden on a Spring morning, I'll be there, in my egg chair, sipping tea out of my new, dainty, utterly joyful, Lucy Tiffney cup.

Morning tea mug. Most of my morning mugs are Disney ones, souvenirs from wonderful holidays.

Afternoon mugs are either the Wrendale robins or a cute little donkeys mug from Greece. I tend to buy a mug on the first day of a holiday, use it while I'm there and then bring it home as a souvenir.

Aw your post just reminded me that I was looking at that range of mugs on the Disney store ages ago! I couldn't decide which one to get so thought I'd come back later, but I forgot all about it till I saw your post!

I can't take a photo of my fav mug right now but it is very similar in size and shape to this mug and it's bright red with Father Christmas on it (used all year round though ). It's pretty big so I only use it for my morning coffee though.

I have another favourite, but it’s a travel mug. It’s my cosmos Corkcicle. I can put coffee in it at 7am and it’s still hot hours later.

I also have a thing for notepads, so please don’t start a thread on those.
